Intransa, the VideoAppliance Company, and BriefCam, the developer and provider of Video Synopsis solutions for rapid reviewing, analyzing and indexing of video, today announced that BriefCam’s Video Synopsis software is SELECT certified and provided as an embedded physical security information management (PSIM) option with Intransa’s VideoAppliance and VDMR Appliance product families.
Providing the BriefCam Video Synopsis software as a preloaded option on Intransa VideoAppliance Maximum Simplicity and Maximum Flexibility platforms provides customers with installer-ready IP security and PSIM out of the box. It is also available with Intransa VDMR Appliance platforms for datacenter deployments.
“BriefCam is proud to have passed certification with Intransa. It's a great step towards the two companies working more closely with one another,” said Dror Irani, CEO, BriefCam. “Our goal is to provide comprehensive Video Synopsis coverage, whether in real-time or on-demand. BriefCam as an option on Intransa appliances provides users with an easy-to-use, powerful tool that makes reviewing 100 percent of installed cameras both possible and affordable, so that Total Video Review can truly be implemented as part of the daily security routine.”
BriefCam Video Synopsis technology processes data to produce a video summary that enables users to browse hours of video in minutes. The synopsis is made possible by simultaneously presenting multiple objects and activities that have occurred at different times.
“Providing the best customer experience possible through easy to use solutions has always been our goal,” said George Vaiser, vice president, partner alliance, Intransa. “Certifying technology solutions, such as those provided by BriefCam, allow us to provide end users with the ultimate customer experience by allowing them to find and display an event in only a few minutes, all as a preloaded option with Intransa VideoAppliance and on the Intransa VDMR Appliance family.”
The Intransa VideoAppliance family is designed to deliver installer-ready IP physical security right out of the box for physical security deployments, while the Intransa VDMR Appliance is designed for IT enterprise deployments. Each product is installer ready and includes an advanced USB media kit with the customer's choice of video surveillance, access control, video analytics and other certified applications, ready to be activated and running in just minutes, including BriefCam Video Synopsis.
With the Intransa appliances, customers no longer need to purchase risky and expensive commodity servers and storage systems, untested and lacking video optimization for physical security workloads. The Intransa appliance families eliminate servers, storage and resulting complexity while further reducing a customer's electrical, heating, cooling and overall equipment needs and all for significant savings.
The Intransa VideoAppliance and VDMR Appliance families will be featured by Intransa booth #1069 at ASIS Orlando, September 19-22, 2011. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the Intransa’s award-winning platforms, and can also enter a daily draw for an Apple iPod Touch or the grand prize of an Apple iPad2.
